I am the Dinesh & Ila Paliwal Innovation Chair and an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Analytics at Farmer School of Business, Miami University. I received a Master’s of Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco.
I have collaborated with several companies through research work, consulting, and/or joint student supervision, including Microsoft, KPMG, IBM, PwC, Cardinal Health, and Unilever. My views and work have been featured in outlets such as Bloomberg, Inside Higher ED, Poets & Quants, Lifewire, and The Journey. My research has been published in academic journals such as Decision Support Systems, Decision Analysis, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, among many others.
